The 2007 Texas Woodworking Show featuring the Cabinet Conference will return to the Dallas Market Center on the outskirts of downtown Dallas. The Market Hall at the Dallas Market Center offers a large clear span space to house the Texas Show so supplies, machinery and equipment can all be accommodated in one hall. Market Hall is also equipped to handle industrial shows with power dropped from the ceiling to facilitate installation and to run woodworking machinery for demonstration purposes.
'Promotional blitz'
A multi-pronged promotional blitz is planned to attract attendance to the Cabinet Conference from throughout the United States and Canada. The marketing plan includes press releases and ads in Wood & Wood Products and CWB magazines, combined circulation of more than 90,000 subscribers; direct mail; e-mail blasts to a database of 30,000 woodworkers and other Web-based promotions.
Stepped-up promotional efforts also will be taken to drum up attendance for the Texas Woodworking Show & Cabinet Conference from among the thousands of professional woodworking operations in Texas and the surrounding states.
A hotbed for woodworking
The biennial Texas Woodworking Show is the only regional industrial woodworking event targeted closely to the needs of cabinet, closet, furniture, architectural millwork, store fixture and other wood products manufacturers located in Texas and the Southwest.
A merge-purge of Wood & Wood Products, CWB and CLOSETS circulation records reveals that the publications reach more than a combined 1,176 wood products plants within a 100-mile radius of Market Hall. That number swells to 3,404, when that circle is expanded to a 250-mile radius.
