The 2009 Texas Woodworking Show and the National Cabinet Conference will return to the Dallas Market Center on the outskirts of downtown Dallas. The Market Hall at the Dallas Market Center offers a large clear span space to house the Texas Show so supplies, machinery and equipment can all be accommodated in one hall. Market Hall is also equipped to handle industrial shows with power dropped from the ceiling to facilitate installation and to run woodworking machinery for demonstration purposes.
This year, the Show will feature two new pavilions of products and services that attendees ask for more and more.
Everyone is looking for new ways to make projects more innovative and profitable. One way is by refining and redesigning the parts that make up their final products. This pavilion will give attendees the opportunity to quickly find sources of cabinet doors, drawers, hardware, etc.
More and more wood products manufacturers are seeking “eco-friendly” materials to use in the manufacture of their products. This pavilion will feature lumber, composite panels, finishes, adhesives and other products & services that can make their end products greener and more profitable.
A multi-pronged promotional blitz is planned to attract attendance to National Cabinet Conference from throughout the United States and Canada. The marketing plan includes press releases and ads in Wood & Wood Products and CWB magazines, combined circulation of more than 90,000 subscribers; direct mail; e-mail blasts to a database of 30,000 woodworkers and other Web-based promotions.
Stepped-up promotional efforts also will be taken to drum up attendance for the Texas Woodworking Show & the National Cabinet Conference from among the thousands of professional woodworking operations in Texas and the surrounding states.
The biennial Texas Woodworking Show is the only regional industrial woodworking event targeted closely to the needs of cabinet, closet, furniture, architectural millwork, store fixture and other wood products manufacturers located in Texas and the Southwest.
A merge-purge of Wood & Wood Products, CWB and CLOSETS circulation records reveals that the publications reach more than a combined 1,176 wood products plants within a 100-mile radius of Market Hall. That number swells to 3,404, when that circle is expanded to a 250-mile radius.
The Texas Woodworking Show attracts top buying prospects. The statistics detail the diverse, powerful audience in attendance. Here are some key statistics gleaned from a survey of past attendees:
(Note: Percentages do not add up to 100 because of multiple responses.)
Custom Woodworking Business is the only magazine dedicated to professional, custom woodworkers, approximately half of which manufacture residential and/or commercial cabinets. Wood & Wood Products is the leading magazine for production wood products manufacturers in North America. Both publications are owned by Vancebr Publishing Corp. and are proud sponsors of the Texas Woodworking Show and National Cabinet Conference.
89% of attendees found new companies to do business with as a result of their time on the exhibit floor.
